“BEING A SERVANT LEADER”
There is a need for everyone to be a leader in the Christian church. You must be good leaders and have good leadership for motivation and planning the future of the church. The higher you go in leadership, the more you should be serving. Matthew 20:24-28; 24. And when the ten heard it,they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. 25. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them,and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28. Even as
the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Jesus was giving a contrast between His leadership and the leadership of the Gentiles. Many pastors in the church today talk about their new, higher positions. But they don’t talk about it in the sense of serving God and His people. A leader should spend time doing things that are menial before becoming a leader. We should come to serve. No one should receive glory except God. Jesus said He did not come to be served but to serve. You must benefit God’s people. John 13:1-17; 1.
Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2. And supper being ended,the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot,Simon’s Son, to betray him; 3. Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; 4. He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 5. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
7. Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit; and ye are clean, but not all. 11. For he knew who would betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 12. So after he had washed their, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13. Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14. If I then,your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.” This is Jesus’s example to us of serving one another. Jesus is our Master. The servant is not greater than his master. No one is more important than Jesus. We should follow Jesus’s example. 2Corinthians 4:7-10,16-18; 7. But we have the treasure in earthen vessels,that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 16. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, but the inward man is renewed day by day. 17. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” The higher your position, the more you should serve. You have been blessed to be a blessing. Titus 1:1; “Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;” The Apostle Paul, who, even though he was called an apostle, acknowledges that he is a servant of God.

THE GOODNESS OF GOD IS THE LIGHT OF GOD”
John 6:35,47; 35. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 47. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Matthew 7:21; “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” You must believe in the only begotten Son of God in order to have everlasting life in heaven with the Father. Matthew 9:10-13; 10. And it came to pass as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12. But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Jesus was never prejudiced or discriminate to anyone.
He never turned anyone away. When you are not born again, you dwell in darkness. John 3:1-5; 1. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4. Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” You must be born again and you must also believe in the only begotten Son of God. You should speak to God and tell Him what you want Him to do for you and believe and have faith that it will be done. Mark 11:23-24; 23.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” John 8:3-12; 3. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst. 4. They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5.
Now, Moses in the law commanded us,that such should be stoned: but sayest thou? 6. This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7. So when they continued asking him,he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. 12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Jesus could have turned her away and He could have decided to join the scribes and Pharisees in stoning the adulteress.
But instead He caused them to take a look at themselves. Jesus loves everyone. He never turned anyone away. No matter their race, culture or how they were dressed. He hates the sin but He loves the sinner. John 12:44-46; 44. Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” Jesus is the light of the world. He loved everyone and we should have a Christ-like mindset. We should follow His example and love one another with a loving heart. Matthew 5:13-16; 13. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16. Let your light so shine before men,that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” God can change your life if you let Him.
IN JESUS CHRIST NAME..
THE POWER OF GOD’S GUIDANCE.
AN EARNEST APPEAL FOR GUIDANCE AND DELIVERANCE.
As children of God and as servants of God what we constantly need are Guidance and Deliverance.
For that purpose God gave the Presence of the Holy Spirit inside us always.
We can hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit guiding us every step of our way.
Satan, demons and the people under their power will try all their best to trap us into sin, deception and be under their control.
(Psalms 143:1-8)
1) “Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.”
Prayer is the life-line of every believer.
Prayer is having communication with our Almighty God.
We should submit our supplications to our Lord and Savior.
Our Triune God will answer us
in His righteousness.
2) “Do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight no one living is righteous.”
As a believer in the New Testament teachings, we are Righteous, Holy and Blameless because Jesus Christ died for us on the Cross of Calvary.
The Precious Blood of Jesus Christ have cleansed us from all our sins.
We should keep on living in this faith and confessing it.
3) “For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.”
Troubles, Problems and Persecutions will come to all of us.
By the Enabling Power of the Holy Spirit we will be able to Overcome every weapon of Satan.
4) “Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.”
Sometimes, like David we will also go through distresses and pain.
But God will never give up on us.
5) “I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.”
We are expected to meditate the Word of God day and night.
The power of God is in the Word of God.
The Holy Spirit is the One Who makes the Word alive to us.
6) “I spread out our hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.”
We need to spread out my hands to You.
That means to pray always.
Our souls should thirst for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.”
7) “Answer me speedily, O Lord;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,
Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.”
Our Almighty God is faithful.
He will not fail us.
The ever abiding Holy Spirit gives us the confidence, courage and strength.
8) “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.””
Jesus got up early in the morning to spend time with the Father God.
We should practice this and hear The Rhema Word on a daily basis.
That is how we know our way step by step.
Our souls get strength and power this way.
